A JETTY and a footbridge over the Pacific Highway will link a new housing development with the ocean and Wallarah National Park.

The construction is expected to be completed by mid-October.

The Stockland development, known as Murray's Beach, is set on about 200 hectares on the shores of Lake Macquarie, with 70 hectares of open space with areas of habitat corridors and foreshore reserve.
